to explain for my lack of an interesting post friday night & also my complete lack yesterday, I give you my Highland Games re-cap…
The HGs is a huge Scottish festival. It’s so fun! I worked the Games 7-7 Friday and Saturday and then today, B & I got to go exploring around all the tents and vendors and concerts. Here are all my pictures from today:

this particular very strong man was lifting a 230 pound rock over his head multiple times. one guy did it SEVEN times. that’s some serious arm strength. christ.
then, i happened to be right in some bagpipers’ way and snapped a pic. bet they loved that.
we watched some cute little girls doing highland dancing, i was jealous of their coordination!
this band is called Albannach and they are AMAZING. I happened to be working right next to the concert tent and I got to hear them all weekend.
They play Scottish tribal music, I guess. It’s loud and reallly great to listen to. Total recommendation.
Then we hit up “Piper’s Pub”, which is actually an outdoor beer garden/concert tent. I had a BL with Lime while we waited for Albannach again!
The band was really close to me, but they weren’t on a stage or anything so they were kind of hard to see (perhaps that is a fault of my height though, 
)
please excuse my extremely tired expression, i am VERY exhausted!

ahahahhahaha my dad made me go to the highland games in Seattle at age 8 JUST TO SEE THE WICKED TINKERS (google them) PLAY LIVE!!!! … and to buy me a FULL ON CELTIC plaid outfit. What kind of life do I live???
Looks like you had a blast. Our high school bagpipers were identical to those that you saw! I have a LONG to do list (that I still need to write) of all the things I need to do before graduating!!
