Like the post says – B & I roasted a chicken for the first time tonight! We follow Jenna’s advice & it came out gooooood. It’s moist and yummy! Only complaint is the garlic didn’t roast – it’s still uncooked mostly, which was a bummer!


I enjoyed my delicious chicken with mashed sweet ‘taters, frozen peas/corn/broccoli & two of the roasted lemons from inside the chicken – which were to.die.for.

In other news – for the next few days, I am going to be using my blog as more of a food/exercise diary. I feel like taking pictures and recording what I am eating will help me (and you, I love feedback) see what I am eating too much of (carbs, sugar, etc.) and what I should be eating more of (veggies, whole grains, etc).
I definitely feel like I would like to make some small(ish) diet changes (note: NOT a diet, as in a crazy fad, but changes to the way I eat. I don’t believe in diets, really.)
I have been feelin’ great lately riding my bike, running and going to Zumba and I want my body to show how great I feel inside! So, once I start this mini food journal project, I WOULD love your help & feedback, ok?!

Sure! Would help any way I can! Just remember NOT to get too obsessed about it. Eat your veggies, grains, proteins, blah blah blah, but also remember that indulgences once a while is not just allowed, it’s NECESSARY!
