bsi – apple cider!

Hey guys!  Looks like I am this week’s host of BSI!  I think I’ve only participated once before, but I love to watch it fly around the blog world to see which ingredients are chosen and what people make with them!  I gotta say though, with this being almost the 100th week of BSI, it’s getting mighty hard to pick an ingredient that hasn’t been chosen before! (I was thinking goat cheese, butternut squash, etc)

So, since it’s October, and I live in New England, since it’s fall & I love fall, since all my other ingredients had already been chosen, since I love everything to do with autumn, since apples & applesauce have already been used, and since I just bought a gallon of the stuff since it was on sale…I chose:

APPLE CIDER

I mean, really, what’s not to love about cider?  It’s tart, it’s crisp, it’s sweet. It’s awesome.

Happy Creating – can’t wait to see what comes in! :)

Apple cider! Great choice for fall! I already have a great apple cider recipe posted, although it’s not very original: http://reciperhapsody.wordpress.com/2009/11/23/easy-apple-cider-doughnuts/ . Thank you for hosting!
